This prairie dog has come out of his burrow with a piece of straw in his mouth. He appears to be cleaning his teeth. Prairie dogs are burrowing rodents that live in colonies in the grasslands of North America. This picture was taken in southwestern Oklahoma.
I have always loved photography and enjoy creating and saving the beauty I find with my camera. My favorite subjects are nature and wildlife.
